About Us
Since 2015, Capriccio Osteria has been serving authentic Italian food in the heart of Leichhardt, guided by restaurateur Michele Rispoli, a third-generation hospitality professional from Positano on Italy’s Amalfi Coast. His vision was simple: bring the spirit of southern Italy to Norton Street and create Sydney’s finest Italian dining experience.
Our kitchen is led by Head Chef Nicole Bampton, whose fine dining pedigree spans Sepia, Tetsuya’s, and Lucio’s. Together, they share one goal: to bring family and friends around the table and create memories that last a lifetime.

You'll find us at 159 Norton Street, Leichhardt, right in the heart of Sydney's Inner West Italian dining precinct. We're open Tuesday to Thursday from 5 pm, Friday and Saturday from 12 pm, and Sunday from 12 pm. We're closed on Mondays.
Absolutely. Capriccio has two private dining spaces available for any occasion, from intimate gatherings to large celebrations. Our upstairs room seats up to 50 guests, or 70 for a cocktail-style event. Our second space accommodates up to 90 seated, or 140 for a cocktail reception. Tailored menus and drink packages are available, starting from $39 per person.
