ABOUT US

Capriccio Osteria first opened its doors in Leichhardt in 2015 with restauranteur, Michele Rispoli, at its helm.

Hailing from the sunny shores of Positano in Italy, Rispoli sought to revitalise the Norton Street strip long associated with Italian food and culture. Coming from a family with three generations of hospitality in their blood, he delivers a passion for quality Italian cuisine and wine, daily.

Leading the kitchen is Head Chef, Nicole Bampton. The W.A native has an impressive resume including Sepia, Tetsuya’s and Lucio’s. Bampton is the mastermind behind every seasonal menu and special event - constantly challenging herself to up the game in taste, texture and colour.

The idea behind Capriccio Osteria is to bring friends and family around the table, in a casual environment and create lasting memories. Buon appetito!

OUR MENU

Our menu showcases modern Italian cuisine with traditional roots, simple dishes inspired by the freshest ingredients sourced locally and changed seasonally.

All dishes are designed to be shared as you would in a traditional osteria in Italy.

LUNCH Friday – Sunday from 12.00 noon | DINNER Tuesday – Sunday from 4.00pm

PARTIES AND FUNCTIONS

At Capriccio Osteria, we offer a variety of spaces for private dining and medium sized functions, accomodating groups from as little as 10 guests or as many as 70.

We even bring the party to you with our catering packages for corporate to milestone events. Packages start from $30 per person.

Capriccio Osteria regularly hosts gourmet dining experiences, often offering the option of wine, beer, and even cocktail pairings.

WHAT’S ON

Recently Chef Bampton has introduced the Taste of the Mediterranean dinner series taking diners palettes to Spain, France, Greece and Turkey.

We like to push the gastronomic boundaries and team up with key industry partners. Past partners have included PorkStar, Vannella Cheese, Stockade & Co Beer, Solerno Liqueur and Australian Truffle Traders.
