Located upstairs from our bustling restaurant, our private function room offers a versatile space that can be tailored to suit your event's needs, whether it's an intimate dinner or a standing canapé reception.

For those beautiful sunny days, you also have the option to reserve our Italian-inspired courtyard. Alternatively, if you desire, you can book the entire establishment and have the largest function room in Leichhardt all to yourself, transforming it into your own private restaurant.

Food and Beverage Packages

Capriccio Osteria brings the freshness and sunshine of the Amalfi Coast straight to your function room in Leichhardt with a menu imbued with years of experience behind every bite. Offering a wide selection of hand-made pasta dishes, freshly prepared wood-fired pizzas, mouth-watering arrays canapes and deliciously decadent desserts. Our scrumptious menu has the traditions of Italy with an Australian twist that ensures your experience is like no other.  

For your function we offer a few different menus, we are not like other establishments boasting about private rooms, we are an experience. Menus that are sized just for you and your guests with their own style and palate. All dishes have been designed to be shared in the middle of the table to keep our traditional Italian restaurant experience flowing. Our packages range from;

‘49’ Our uncomplicated yet refined two-course dining selection.

‘59’: Our Simple yet elegant three-course option.

‘Classic’ or ‘Signature’: Encompasses the traditional five-course decadence complete with antipasti to a dolce finish.  

‘Feast’ or ‘Coastline Feast’: As the name suggests, it’s six courses of indulgence with all the trimmings of an Italian feast. We offer two types of feast depending on whether you want the spray of the sea or the lay of the land.

‘Canape’: Suitable for cocktail parties and casual guests, an array of specially selected options to choose from. 

All menus are seasonal to ensure your meals are always crisply delivered.

We also offer a few special drinks packages to ensure there is not a dry lip in the place. You have the fitted options to pre-determine which drinks we will have on offer on the day, or you can have it be a free-for-all. Both packages on offer also come with a three-hour window of being unlimited, taking the stresses out of keeping track of a bar tab, sit back relax and enjoy your day.

 We have two package options:

‘Casa’: Includes Imported Italian beer, Tuscan Wines and Soft Drinks

‘Premium’: Includes Prosecco/Aperol Spritz, a choice of three wines, as well as imported Italian beers and Soft Drinks.
